Understanding the financing needs of small and medium sized enterprises in the BES Islands post COVID19.
At Tact one of our hypothesis is that “post Covid19” there exists a strong need of financing amongst companies in the BES Islands. To explore this hypothesis, we conducted a mini survey in early 2023 with the aim of identifying the financing needs and preparedness of small and medium-sized businesses (i.e. SMEs) operating within the BES Islands. Our background research, survey results and conclusions are summarised in the report below. We hope that this report provides valuable insights into the financing needs and challenges faced by businesses in the BES Islands; and can inspire further research and actions to be taken.
